Rebecca Romijn is an American actress and former model famous for portraying the character of "Mystique" in the very first three-part series of the American Marvel superhero series 'X-Men'. Romijn also appeared in an additional Marvel superhero film 'The Punisher where she was the character Joan. Romijn started her career as a model professional and was employed by companies such as Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. It was a long time that she modelled for fashion houses of the big leagues and later quit that line of profession to concentrate on her acting career. Romijn is better known in the world of television than Hollywood.
