Born on 2 December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her appearances on TV shows and films. Brandt began her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut came with her part as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has been featured on a variety of TV series in the past decade. They include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is the character Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Her move to Auckland with her family in her twenties. Her career began as model for print ads and commercial advertisements. In the years before she became a successful model, Brandt was a saleswoman in retail as well as an information-technology recruitment consultant. In 2009, she got her first role in Leilani as Leilani in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. The year 2021 was the year that her debut role in the spotlight was as Naevia the slave in the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand.
