Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox had studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her income. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance when compared with her peers and she pondered what alternative route she could take. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band went to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. She was the lead singer in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva that was out around 1992. In both commercial terms and critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. is an accompanying piece to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You Go... The album is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist, and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox joined her fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 by releasing the album Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa, a 1995 studio album that features cover versions of popular tracks like No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums and one compilation album, are the result of her efforts.
